Mustaches and cancer.
Staplers and garden hoses.
Shopping carts and mud puddles.
Pudding and unicorns.
No, we’re not playing some random word association game. (Hint: there’s no association with those last three.)
But mustaches and cancer? YES!
Stick with me, here. November has recently been renamed MOVEMBER by a small but mighty group of folks concerned about men’s health. It started out as a little thing: A couple guys started with a fresh shave on November 1 then grew in their “mo’s” to raise money and awareness for prostate and testicular cancer initiatives.
Not sure how to get on the bushy bandwagon this late in the month? Here’s an easy one:
The Upstate Cancer Center has partnered up with the Syracuse Crunch to bring the mojo of the mustache right to you. On Friday, November 23 at 7:30pm at the War Memorial Arena watch the Crunch vs. the Binghamton Senators. Tickets are $15 and all proceeds benefit the Upstate Cancer Center.
