The Upstate Cancer Center and Upstate’s Colleges Against Cancer chapter host the third annual Lung Cancer Vigil at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13 outside the main entrance of Upstate University Hospital. The candlelight vigil is part of a national Shine a Light on Lung Cancer awareness effort by the Lung Cancer Alliance, a not-for-profit organization. The public is welcome.
Presenters include Leslie Kohman MD, medical director for the Upstate Cancer Center; students from Upstate’s Radiation Therapy program, and other members of the Upstate community.
