The Lung Cancer Candlelight Vigil was held Thursday, Nov. 14, in the circle in front of Upstate University Hospital and the Upstate Cancer Center, which is under construction. During the ceremony, Health Professions student Amelia Wormer and faculty member Elton Garvin sang a duet of “The Lord is my Shepherd,” accompanied by student/guitarist Hal Appleby (in the background). All are part of the radiation therapy program in the College of Health Professions at Upstate Medical University.
